Coverage, live

Charge, RN, PCA and secretary counts for right now, tonight and tomorrow. Nobody rebuilds it in a spreadsheet.

Everything waiting on you

New accounts, swaps, pickups and requests in one list, each a tap from done.

Free for your whole team

Nurse scheduling

One schedule. Everything that needs you is on it.

Staffing for every day of the month, with a mark on the days that have something waiting: a pickup to approve, a shift still open, a swap to look at.

Approve from the day

Your time

Balancing a schedule by hand costs more than it looks.

Every six weeks, someone spends a weekend making the weekends fair. Put in your own hours and see what that time is worth.

Adam spends about 15 hours on each six week schedule. Use your own.

The default is the national median for health services managers. Your real cost, with benefits, is higher.

This sizes your time. It is not a savings claim: Adelo has published no results on how many hours it saves, and the Balancer builds a draft that you still review and publish. The 15 hour default is Adam's own estimate from his unit. The hourly default is the May 2025 BLS median for medical and health services managers. Outside evidence on scheduling time is thin: one small study on a 35 nurse pediatric ICU found a scheduling tool cut a monthly schedule from 4 to 5 hours to about 30 minutes (Cheng and colleagues, 2006), and a nurse writing for the American Nurses Association described a 28 day schedule taking longer than her 12 hour shift. Neither is about Adelo. Premium is $4.99 per staff member a month billed annually, with a $149 a month minimum.

Capacity

Tomorrow’s census, as nurses.

The house administrator’s morning and evening numbers type themselves in. Adelo carries the census a week ahead, turns each day into nurses needed against who is on the schedule, and posts the open shifts from the same card, with who said yes.

Capacity: a week of tiles with census, open beds and RNs scheduled against needed on each day; tomorrow open below with the night lane three short, two shifts posted and one person waiting for approvalCapacity on a phone: tomorrow at a census of 24, 28 beds, 3 open, Yellow

Green, Yellow, Red

Open beds against the unit’s own thresholds, with the rule for each colour spelled out.

Post from the gap

A short lane posts its own shifts, nudges the people who can take them, and shows who answered.

It grades itself

Every morning’s forecast is kept and scored against what happened, and the turnover number learns from it.

Analytics

The unit's numbers, without waiting on a report.

Nursing productivity against target, hours per patient day (HPPD), overtime and who is carrying it. Open any figure to see the days and the people behind it.

The Analytics command center: a productivity index of 101.3 percent against target, with overtime, worked hours, hours per patient day and overtime concentration beside itThe Analytics command center on a phone: the productivity index against target

Scorecards by role

The same numbers, arranged the way a CNO, a CFO or a director asks for them.

Ask in plain words

Ask Adelo answers questions about your unit's schedule, attendance and staffing. It reads only what your role can see, and never patient data.

Out the door in Excel or PDF

The board pack is one button, not an afternoon.

Hours and productivity come from the timekeeping sheet your unit already keeps, or from the Adelo time clock. Census comes from your charge nurses or a daily feed.

The national average is 17.6%. Use your own if you know it.

The default is the 2026 NSI national average for a staff RN.

This sizes a problem. It is not a savings claim. Adelo is early and has published no retention results, so nothing here assumes it changes your turnover. Turnover and cost defaults come from the 2026 NSI National Health Care Retention & RN Staffing Report. Adelo pricing is $4.99 per staff member a month billed annually, with a $149 a month minimum.
